Cancellation and refund policy

• A duplicate or failed charge is refunded in full, within 5 to 7 business days of us confirming it.
• A plan you have not used is refundable within 7 days of purchase. Unused means its key has made no API requests at all. After that, or once it has made any, it is not.
• You can stop at any time. A plan runs to the end of the period you paid for, with no pro-rata refund for the remainder.

Plans are bought for a period, monthly or annual, and are paid up front. Nothing renews automatically and no card is charged again unless you buy again, so there is no subscription to cancel and no cancellation fee. If you do not buy again, your plan simply ends when the period you paid for does, after a three-day grace period during which the key still works. Then the key stops working. The free tier, which needs no key, stays available.

If you want a key disabled before then, write to contact@arkalabel.ioand we will disable it. That does not entitle you to a refund of the rest of the period, except as set out below.

If you were charged twice for one purchase, or you were charged and no API key was issued, tell us at contact@arkalabel.io with the Razorpay payment ID from your receipt. Once we have confirmed the problem we refund the full amount of the duplicate or failed charge, and it reaches your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days.

If you bought a plan by mistake or it does not suit you, you can ask for a refund within 7 days of the purchase, provided the key it issued has made no API requests at all. That is a count we hold against the key, not a judgement: a key with zero requests is unused, and a key with one or more is not. Once the key has made a request, or after 7 days, the payment is not refundable, because by then you have had the service you paid for.

A new purchase issues a new key with its own period. It does not extend an earlier key, so buying again before a plan ends leaves the earlier key working until its own date.

Refunds go back to the payment method you used, in the currency you were charged. They are processed through Razorpay, and the time your bank or card issuer takes to show the credit is outside our control, though it is normally within the 5 to 7 business days given above.

Nothing in this policy limits a right you have under Indian law, and if the law entitles you to a refund we will give it.
